Overview:

Desktop Authority accommodates virtually every installation's core requirements right out of the box, however, you may find it necessary to add additional functionality, such as automating software deployment.

Adding additional functionality to ScriptLogic and Desktop Authority is simple, though it requires programming in KiXtart and often requires a working knowledge of the registry.

If you would rather develop custom scripts in VBscript, you can launch them using the Application Launcher Tab.

These scripts in our Custom Script Library are ready-to-use scripts that have been contributed by our customers, Certified Partners and ScriptLogic Corporation's technical support team. They are primarily designed to take advantage of Desktop Authority's enhanced functionality (such as being able to write to secure sections of the registry on NT/2000/XP clients) and launch applications with elevated (administrator) rights on the local machine.
